In the beginning. I want to explain to
you what is Network Marketing Back in the 1934. Some people was created a first
company in this area. named "California Vitamin" and came up with a
concept of Multi Level Marketing. Or in other term called the
"MLM"
Multi-level
marketing (MLM), also called pyramid selling network marketing, and referral
marketing is a marketing strategy for the sale of products or services where
the revenue of the MLM company is derived from a non-salaried workforce selling
the company's products/services, while the earnings of the participants are
derived from a pyramid-shaped or binary compensation commission system.
Over
the last 70 years many companies have emerged under the name of Network
Marketing .. some of them is real .. and some of them are fraudulent

1-Amway
Is
an American multi-level marketing company that sells health, beauty, and home
care products. The company was founded in 1959 by Jay Van Andel and Richard
DeVos and is based in Ada, Michigan. Amway and its sister companies under Cortical reported sales of $8.8 billion in 2018. It conducts business through a
number of affiliated companies in more than a hundred countries and
territories. Amway has been investigated in various countries and by institutions
such as the Federal Trade Commission FTC for alleged pyramid scheme practices

which offers utility and telecommunication services, health insurance,
nutritional supplements, and business services. It was founded in 2001. In
2017, the co-founders of 5 LINX, Craig Jerabeck, Jeb Tyler, and Jason Guck, were
indicted on multiple federal fraud charges, including wire fraud and money
laundering. They admitted to defrauding $2.3 million from investors, illegally
depositing company revenues into personal accounts, and failing to pay hundreds
of thousands of dollars in taxes. Tyler and Jerabeck were sentenced to 14-month
prison terms in December 2018.

9-Herbalife Nutrition
Is
a global multi-level marketing corporation that develops, markets, and sells
dietary supplements, weight management, sports nutrition, and personal-care
products. The company was founded by Mark Hughes in 1980, and it employs an
estimated 8,000 people worldwide. The business is incorporated in the Cayman
Islands, with its corporate headquarters located Los Angeles, California. The
company operates in 94 countries through a network of approximately 3.2 million
independent distributors.
The
company has been criticized by, among others, hedge fund manager Bill Ackman of
Pershing Square Capital, who claimed that Herbalife operates a "sophisticated
pyramid scheme" after taking a $1 billion short position in Herbalife
stock. Herbalife agreed to "fundamentally restructure" its business
and pay a $200 million fine as part of a 2016 settlement with the U.S. Federal
Trade Commission FTC following accusations of it being a pyramid scheme. The
FTC said in a press release about the settlement "it's virtually
impossible to make money selling Herbalife products." In November 2017,
Ackman's hedge fund closed out its short position in Herbalife.
10-Kleeneze
Kleeneze
Homecare was a British multi-level marketing company started in 1923, in
Hanham, Bristol. The company's founder, Harry Crook, had emigrated to the
United States with his family several years earlier, and whilst there joined
Fuller Brush as a sales representative. He returned to Bristol several years
later, and started a business making brushes which were sold door-to-door by
salesmen.
Since
the 1980s, Kleeneze independent distributors have delivered catalogues to
households, blanket dropping, to find regular customers. Kleeneze distributors
could also run their own ecommerce business or party plan business. Similar to
other multi-level marketing companies, Kleeneze offers incentive schemes for
higher performing distributors, such as chances to attend lavish international
conferences or cars.
In
1995, Kleeneze was bought by European Home Retail (EHR). The company was bought
by Findel PLC in 2007, after the collapse of EHR. In 2015, Findel sold Kleeneze
to CVSL, an American holding company, as part of their MLM portfolio.
The
company remained at its original Hanham site for almost 80 years. In May 2004,
the company relocated its headquarters and distribution centre to Warmley. In
2007, after the acquisition by Findel, it was announced that the company would
move to Hyndburn.
Kleeneze
was a founder member of the UK's Direct Selling Association until 2017.
In
2016, funding was obtained from Greater Manchester Combined Authority to set up
a warehouse and distribution centre in Rochdale.
Kleeneze
went into administration under the firm FRP Advisory on 12 April 2018.
According to the administrator, a period of rough trading and operational
issues following its 2017 move to Heywood had caused the company to seek a
buyer to save the company. At the time, the company reported 140 jobs and 5,000
distributors.
