Traditional work
has become unpopular today for many, and all people is thinking about creating a project.
But the project
needs a large capital, effort, focus and comprehensive study around it. But in the
end maybe fail
If you’ve been
dreaming of being a work at home, I can almost guarantee that someone has
brought up one network marketing company or another. You might have a million
different objections about why network marketing would absolutely never work
for you, I did too.
You don’t have
enough friends, you think it’s a “pyramid scheme”, you don’t like being
“sales”, no one can ever actually succeed at network marketing.
Maybe one day I’ll
write a post that addresses all of these common objections to network
marketing, but for now I’ll just be focusing on the last one. Why? Because the
one thing I really want you to know is that anyone, including you, can succeed
at network marketing.

1-Educate Yourself
This is one of the
quickest and easiest ways to help you succeed at network marketing. There’s a
common saying that I just love, “leaders are readers”. Be a reader! Read every
book you can get your hands on about your company, their products, and network
marketing in general.
Looking for
somewhere to start? Go Pro and The Four-Year Career are both a great place to start! No
budget for books? Ask your up-line for some materials. Do a quick Pinterest search
and find tons of helpful blogs.
Reading not your
thing? There are tons of podcasts available. Or look up leaders in your
company, I’m sure they have some talks up on YouTube!
2-Teach Your Team Duplication
When I learnt how to use marketing system to grow my business, I taught my team
the same thing.
This is how you can grow your team
to over thousands of members in a short space of time.
Something that works for you and is
so easy to replicate can help other struggling team members.
When you introduce these systems
into your team it is a win-win.
It helps the team member build their
team quicker, make more product sales and puts money in everyone’s pocket.
I still use this strategy every day
and encourage anyone looking to build a solid foundation, to find a strategy
that works for you and then share it with your teams. They will then share it
in their own teams and so on and so on.
3-Focus on
Relationships
If you get your
starter kit and immediately call everyone you haven’t talked to in three years
to ask them to book a party, you’re not going to succeed at network marketing.
In fact, you’ll probably crash and burn really quick.
No one likes to be
talking to someone and feel like they’re just seeing you as a dollar sign, a
party, or a potential sign up. It’s salesy and it’s the in-person version of
email spam. Network marketing is all about relationships.
Organically use the
products and recommend them when they naturally fit. I chose to work with Fund noodle products
because I really use them in my home with my boys. When a friend says that her
child hates to practice handwriting, I can naturally mention the Muscle Mover
Cards that help motivate kids.
If I had randomly
spammed her Facebook account asking if she wanted to book a party or buy from
me or “make sure you order from me because I talked to you first”, she likely
would have been turned off and never would have listened to me.
Genuinely try to
help people, share naturally and organically, and don’t see everyone as a new
potential customer, see them as a friend.
4-Love and Live
Your Products
This is another
really simple way to naturally succeed at network marketing. Just truly love
your products and use them regularly throughout your day. If you are like most
people trying to succeed at network marketing, you’re doing this because you
tried out the products and loved them!
The key here is to
use your products all the time. I like to call it becoming a “product of the
product”. Think about this: If you sell Fund noodle products and you pull out a workbook
from another brand,
will that show people that you truly believe in your brand and your products?
On top of that, use
your products as a conversation starter! I like to leave my pounding kit out
when my kids have playmates. I also like to bring my muscle mover cards if
we’re anywhere we’ll need to wait to keep the kiddos occupied.
If you sell makeup,
make sure you have it on when you go out and about, and chat with anyone who
compliments it. Believe in the products, use them, and share them naturally.
Plus, when you truly love what you’re using, it shows!
5-Own What You Do
This one may seem
silly, but it’s really, important. You
need to have some confidence and absolutely own what you do. I know that as a
work at home, it can be hard to answer “what do you do?” but if you sheepishly
answer “oh, I’m a stay at home.
If you’re really
loving your products and you’re treating it like a business, you should be able
to share with confidence. “What do you do?” could be answered, “I own a
business sharing early education products that help kids develop fundamental
skills needed for handwriting and it’s truly changed my life and the life of
my family. It’s given me enough financial freedom to stay home with my family”.
6- Leverage
Social Media
If you do not know
by now, social media is huge for building your business.Everyday I connect with
so many people who are successful and also not so successful. But I know that I
have one thing that I can offer to them and that is value. This is how I was
able to recruit five people in a day from Facebook and Pinterest. biggest tip
for growing your business with social media, is find one or two platforms and
master them.
“Jack of all trades
master of none” can actually hurt your business when you are spreading yourself
thin and trying to do everything at once.
I agree that any
social media platform is great for networking and prospecting but you will
never be an expert if you are trying to grow an audience over all platforms.
7-Tell
Good Stories
I can assure you that all successful network marketers are good storytellers. You should be able to collect and tell good stories to encourage people to join your business. It could be stories about your upline, down-line, your company, the products, or your compensation plan. You should be able to retain and share all the stories involved in your business with your prospects. The more stories you share about your company or industry with people, the more you expose your business opportunity to the world and attract more people. MLM Recruiting stars in network marketing are good storytellers, and you should tell good stories to be able to recruit people to your business.
8-Listen
And Ask Question
Talking
and selling can be challenging, and the only way you can understand your
prospects needs and wants is to ask questions. Many marketers do not listen and
ask the right question. They are more focused on talking about their
compensation plan, products, and services and how their company is excellent
than asking their prospects the right questions.
If
you start asking the right questions, you will be able to understand them
better and have a better approach to introducing your business opportunity and
recruiting them. Sadly, 95% of network marketer do this; hence, the reason why
most fail.
9-Enthusiasm
MLM
recruiting stars are always active and enthusiastic. They are always pumped up,
vibrant, energetic, and bring a positive aura to them. Positivity and
enthusiasm are infectious, and people are attracted to those who have these
attributes.
Think
about the enthusiastic people in your life. I know you have a smile on your
face now. That is the spirit to have when you are a network marketer so that
people feel comfortable around you and have a smile on their faces when they
think about you.
10-Work Hard
I
feel like no one says this enough. This is by far the single greatest trait
that can set you up for success in network marketing business. If you want to
achieve something worthy of having, you have to work hard! So learn how to be
successful in network marketing and work your hardest to crush it out there!
Finally .. Never ever quit
MLM
networking is not for quitters. Quitting means that you’re not reaching out to
people anymore, you’re not impacting, and you’re not talking to people. You
need to get out there and hustle every day.
