Their compensation plan is typical of a network marketing company but the amounts will vary. This will give a pretty good idea of how making money in network marketing works.


The first part of any network marketing plan is to become a distributor. In this case, distributors are called consultants. As with most programs, there is a signup fee ($399) and you get a business start-up kit which includes all the information you need to get started. As a consultant, you have access to a group of personalized websites which you use to conduct business on a daily basis. There is a fee of $24.95 per month for access to these websites. In this case, there are no more fees that you will have to pay.


The second part of a network marketing plan is generating revenue for the parent company. In this case, revenue is generated by gathering electricity or natural gas customers. As a consultant, your first job is to gather a few personal customers. The second part of your job is to get other consultants involved in gathering customers. This allows the business to grow faster as 2 people can obviously gather more customers than 1 person can. And 10 people can gather more customers than 2. The bigger your network the more revenue is generated. The last and most important part is how you get compensated for generating revenue.


The last, and best, part of making money in network marketing is getting paid. The primary way you get paid is by collecting a commission on the customers in your organization every month when they pay their bill. Another way you get paid is by gathering bonuses. I will discuss both of these in more detail.
